Assembly

Mechanical and final assembly for machines, systems, and production equipment

Our assembly team brings everything together — fabricated frames, machined components, hydraulics, controls, and guarding — into complete machines and systems that are ready to run. We focus on clean routing, service access, and real-world reliability so your equipment is easier to live with long term.

What our Assembly team provides

We handle mechanical and final assembly for everything from small subassemblies to full custom machines and production lines. That includes bolting, fastening, aligning, plumbing hydraulics, routing hoses and cables, mounting sensors, and tying in guards and safety devices.

Because assembly sits at the intersection of fabrication, machining, hydraulics, and controls, our team works closely with every department so the finished equipment matches the design and functions the way you expect on your floor.

  • Mechanical assembly of frames, subassemblies, and complete machines
  • Installation of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical drives
  • Mounting and routing of sensors, cabling, conduits, and hoses
  • Integration of guards, safety devices, and operator stations
  • Dry-run testing and assist with startup at your facility if needed

How our assembly process works

  1. Pre-assembly review – We review drawings, models, and BOMs to understand how components fit together, what the sequence should be, and where critical interfaces and tolerances live.
  2. Subassembly build – Key modules and subassemblies are built first so they can be tested, verified, and adjusted before final integration.
  3. Main assembly – Frames, structures, and major components are brought together, aligned, and fastened, with attention to access, straightness, and service clearances.
  4. Hydraulics, pneumatics, and controls tie-in – Hoses, tubing, wiring, and cabling are routed, secured, and connected so the system is clean, safe, and maintainable.
  5. Testing & handoff – We perform dry runs and functional checks as appropriate, then help prepare the equipment for shipment, installation, and startup.

Whether it’s a single station, a custom machine, or a larger system, our assembly team focuses on making sure the final build looks clean, runs reliably, and is practical for operators and maintenance.

Why choose Troyer Brothers for assembly?

Assembly is where design decisions meet reality. Because we have fabrication, machining, hydraulics, controls, and finishing all under one roof, we can catch issues early, make adjustments quickly, and deliver equipment that feels thought-out when it arrives at your plant.

  • Cross-discipline coordination – Assemblers work directly with welders, machinists, hydraulic techs, and controls engineers.
  • Cleaner, more serviceable builds – We pay attention to hose routing, cable management, access panels, and component placement so your team can actually work on the equipment.
  • Support from build to startup – We can support testing on our floor and assist during installation and commissioning as needed.
  • Flexible scope – From subassemblies you integrate in-house to full turnkey builds shipped ready for installation.

If you need help turning a set of drawings and parts into a finished, working machine or system, our assembly department can plug in wherever you need us.
