MBS Compost Turner
The MBS Compost Turner is a self-propelled, hydro-mechanical compost turner designed for high-volume operations. Working in partnership with Midwest Bio-Systems, Troyer Brothers helped bring this Aeromaster composting platform into production with a durable frame, complex hydraulic systems, and field-ready assembly.
Compost turner for high-volume operations
The MBS Compost Turner is built to straddle and process large compost windrows, blending, aerating, and shaping material in a single pass. Its elevated cab, long-span chassis, and hydraulically driven drum give operators the control and visibility needed to manage windrows efficiently on commercial composting sites.
Troyer Brothers manufactures and assembles the complex hydro-mechanical platform behind this machine. Our team handles fabrication, machining, hydraulic system build, and complete machine assembly, as well as disassembly for shipping and final field assembly and optimization.
Built around the Aeromaster composting system
Midwest Bio-Systems (MBS) needed a reliable manufacturing partner to support production of their Aeromaster compost turners—machines that combine controlled aeration, moisture management, and efficient mixing for high-value compost. The self-propelled compost turner is the result of that collaboration, pairing MBS’s process expertise with Troyer Brothers’ engineering and fabrication capabilities.
Troyer Brothers worked from MBS designs to refine manufacturability, integrate complex hydraulic systems, and standardize assembly steps. Our role includes ongoing production support, field feedback integration, and final assembly procedures that keep these machines ready for demanding composting environments.
