Troyer Brothers Inc.
Machining
CNC and manual machining for prototypes and production runs
Our machining team produces tight-tolerance components for new builds, repairs, and ongoing production. From one-off shafts and pins to repeat batches of precision parts, we machine to print and coordinate directly with our fabrication, welding, and assembly departments.
What our Machining team provides
We handle CNC and manual machining for new designs, replacement parts, and production work. Our machinists work from your drawings, models, or samples to produce parts that fit, assemble, and run the way they should.
Because machining is integrated with our fabrication, welding, and assembly operations, we can take care of complete projects — not just loose parts. That means better fit-up, faster changes, and less time chasing details between vendors.
- CNC milling and turning for precision components
- Manual machining for repair work, custom one-offs, and quick turnarounds
- Shafts, bushings, pins, brackets, plates, and custom components
- Work in carbon steel, stainless, aluminum, and other common alloys
- Machining support for weldments, fixtures, jigs, and custom machines
How our machining process works
- Review & quoting – You send drawings, models, or a sample part. We review material, tolerances, quantities, and deadlines, then provide pricing and lead time.
- Programming & setup – Our machinists program CNC operations or plan manual setups, choose tooling, and prepare fixtures for efficient, repeatable machining.
- Machining – Parts are machined to print on CNC or manual equipment, with attention to critical dimensions, surface finish, and functional features.
- Inspection – Key dimensions and features are checked against your drawings so parts fit and assemble correctly the first time.
- Delivery or integration – Finished parts can be shipped, held for future releases, or moved directly into welding, assembly, or installation inside our shop.
Whether you need a single replacement part or a repeat production run, our machining team focuses on making sure the parts you receive actually work in the equipment they’re going into.
Why choose Troyer Brothers for machining?
Machining is more than just hitting a dimension — it’s about how the part behaves once it’s welded, bolted, or assembled into a real machine. Because our machinists work closely with fabrication, hydraulics, and assembly, the parts we produce are grounded in how they’re actually used.
- Practical, shop-floor focus – Parts made by people who see how equipment runs, wears, and is serviced.
- Integrated capabilities – Machining, fabrication, welding, and assembly all under one roof, which cuts down on back-and-forth and delays.
- Support for repairs and new builds – We can reverse engineer worn parts or work directly from your models for new projects.
- Flexible volume – From single custom components to repeat production runs.
If you need a critical part replaced, a new design machined, or support for a larger machine build, our machining department can plug in at whatever level you need.
