Welding & Fabrication

Structural fabrication and precision welding for parts, frames, and custom equipment

Our fabrication and welding team builds everything from small brackets to full machine frames, fixtures, structures, and production equipment. With tight coordination between design, machining, and welding, we deliver assemblies that fit, align, and perform the way they're supposed to.

What our Welding & Fabrication team provides

We fabricate welded assemblies that hold up to real-world use — machine frames, fixtures, guards, supports, tables, platforms, and custom components built to print or developed collaboratively with your team.

Our fabricators work closely with machining, engineering, and assembly so parts line up, holes fit, and components bolt together without rework or surprises once the equipment hits the floor.

  • MIG, TIG, and stick welding for carbon steel, stainless, and aluminum
  • Fabrication of frames, weldments, brackets, guards, and structural components
  • Jigs, fixtures, and precision setups for consistent, repeatable assemblies
  • Weld prep, fit-up, inspection, and distortion control for high-quality results
  • Integration with machining and assembly for complete, finished equipment

How our fabrication process works

  1. Review & planning – We look at your prints, models, or sketches to understand requirements, fit-ups, tolerances, and overall assembly goals.
  2. Cutting & prep – Materials are cut, cleaned, beveled, and prepped using saws, lasers, and machining to ensure proper alignment and strong welds.
  3. Fit-up & welding – Weldments are assembled, squared, and welded using the appropriate process (MIG, TIG, or stick) to achieve strength, accuracy, and consistent quality.
  4. Machining & finishing – After welding, parts can move directly into machining for precision surfaces, holes, or critical features, or into paint/powder coat for finishing.
  5. Final inspection & assembly – Welded components are checked for squareness, alignment, and fit, then moved into final assembly if part of a larger build.

From heavy structural weldments to detailed fixtures and assemblies, our team builds equipment that works on the shop floor — not just on paper.

Why choose Troyer Brothers for welding & fabrication?

Fabrication sits at the center of everything we build — which means accuracy, alignment, and repeatability are critical. With machining, hydraulics, controls, and assembly all in-house, we keep weldments aligned with how the machine will ultimately function.

  • Experienced fabricators – Skilled welders who understand mechanical, hydraulic, and operational requirements.
  • Integrated workflow – Welding, machining, finishing, and assembly all coordinated to reduce errors and eliminate back-and-forth.
  • Reliable, repeatable results – Jigs, fixtures, and precision setups ensure assemblies go together clean and correct.
  • Built for serviceability – Designs and weldments built with access, maintenance, and long-term reliability in mind.

Whether you need a single welded component, a custom machine frame, or a full structural assembly, our fabrication department can build it to last.
